I just downloaded the upgrade today, and already I like it better than the version I had. I can see where I will have to spend a lot less time managing my Twitter activity. Thanks for delivering the upgrade. I like it.
It no longer has everything I had set up in the previous version of TweetAdder like the list of people to follow, follow ratios etc.
Do we have to set this up again?

The new version should pull in your registration codes, and all of your logins.
Passwords, settings, tweets, etc will need to be added manually.
We have added an ‘export’ button to Tweetadder 2010 which will allow you to export your data, and import it into the new version. This is located on the “Search” tab, bottom right.
First, make sure that you have the latest version of Tweet Adder 2010. Build number 100823. While previous versions would not let you continue to run the software when an update is available, this version will.
If you don’t have the latest build, please clear your web browser’s cache

Windows users should Uninstall Tweet Adder 2010, and Mac users should remove Tweet Adder 2010 form their Applications folder.
Now download the latest 2010 build:

When running the latest version, the software will launch the Tweet Adder upgrade webpage. The software will remain running however.
If you wish to export your old “To Follow List”, there is now an option to do so. Open the user who’s list you wish to export, and click the “Export To Follow List” on the bottom right portion of the “Search” tab.
Nice upgrade, but I can’t seem to find my conversion stats anymore. Should I be looking someplace new?

Thanks! The conversion stats now show under the appropriate field per profile on the Account Overview Screen. If you are looking for the ratio of followers to following:
open the account > lefthand side click username for pulldown > click on either ‘followers’ or ‘following’, your ratio is located at the bottom of the screen
I have been using Tweet Adder for a while and it is a really useful tool.
However since the release of Tweetadder 3 which I downloaded, every time I open the software from the dock it tells me to download another update?
Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong?

Tweetadder stoped working for me after the upgrade. Old version tells that there is a new version available. when I downöoad and install new version then new version starts telling that newer version available. and this is a neverending loop. Anyideas how to fix that?

Please completely uninstall any versions of Tweetadder that you currently have on your computer, restart your computer, then download Tweetadder 3.0. Contact us back if this problem persists.
If you have the program open on another other computer and are trying to install the 3.0 version, you will still have trouble. Uninstall from both machines.
If you keep getting a message that you need to download the latest version (in a loop) it is because you need to clear your browser cache/temporary internet files. Your browser isn’t downloading the latest version because you have the other version cached.

I just want to know how it is possible in TA3 to send DMs automatically – as it was in previous versions of TA.
In my TA3 it only works manually…
Any way to help?

Technically the Direct Message is the “Thank You Message” section.
1. Go to “Open User”
2. Select the Profile to edit
3. Select “Thank You Message”
4. Hit the “Automation” button on the top, next to the TweetAdder Logo
This will activate the Automated DM’s
Not liking the change Tweet Adder 2010 stopped working and for some reason even though I have downloaded Tweet Adder 3.0 it keeps the .exe file extension trying to tell me to download it again ever since the change the software has rendered itself useless. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix for it. This is the first problem I had I’m on Windows Vista if it makes a difference.

TweetAdder2010 is obsolete since the api change at twitter, for this reason we created TweetAdder3 to not only add features but to allow the program to continue working without use of the API. Regarding the Vista issue, we had another client state that the issue was a VISTA bug they found and then it worked. I am awaiting the details so we can share with our Vista users.
Firstly, I LOVE TA3! Its amazing.. pure amazing!
One thing I noticed, theres no way to clear your sent messages log..? Maybe this feature was left out, or maybe im being a dumbass. I just can’t find it! x]
A useful feature for a future release could be a statistics page, like, how many followers you gained through the month, how many messages you sent throughout the month, or even weekly! It would be nice to know exactly how many people converted to followers without having to note the overview page everyday.

You seem to know your stuff, maintain typing it up. Twitter marketing is on the rise, and Tweet Adder is seriously helpful.
Fascinating, tools like Tweet Adder are extremely powerful if employed right, but social media marketing really should only be a modest part of an IM campaign.

Been enjoying TA a lot! Couple of questions:
When I add re-tweets, what is the proper format for “keywords”, and does that automatically include any single keyword from the list? for example, if I setup a retweet for @steakeater, do I type: steak, beef, roast for the tweet keywords?
Then, will it re-tweet ANY post that has just one of those keywords?
Also, one feature that I would love would be to have some stats (ala Tweriod), or at the very least, be able to schedule or “Bias” tweets during certain times of the day. Is this planned? ETA?

How about an option in the RSS Feed to Tweet Old Posts as well as new posts? If selected, Tweet Adder will Tweet a random post from the RSS archive on a regular basis set by the user.
